I can still remember what my first purchase was on my first credit card. An external CD burner and a lot of 100 blank CDs. That was in 1998.

I'm still working on paying that thing off. ;)

Well done for getting out of debt. I was 'up to my eyeballs' as they say at one point. The day that I could say 'I am debt free' was such a fantastic one, such a weight off my shoulders.
